Black Russian Terrier Breeder

“SLOVENSKA DUSHA” kennel is one of the most prominent Black Russian Terrier breeder - Kennels and has officially been registered by the FCI in 2005. Even though it has been registered recently, the kennel has significant experience in breeding black Russian terriers and has achieved the highest international results. We are located in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The breeding in our kennel is based on the best Black Russian terrier breeding lines in a very close cooperation with the most successful Black Russian terrier kennels.

We use the following famous Black Russian Terrier breeding lines, both tested from the character and from the exterior sides:

• LES-LAVR (through Bart Barbi s Bronnich, Anfisa)
• OLE-KASSANDRA-LAIK (through Evsey, Jaroslav Mudry, Jashka Malahovskiy and Vikont)

• DAN-ZHAN (through Kait Krait)

The most important elements of our breeding is love for the dogs and care about the stable character of the dogs, a fact that has been often neglected. Dogs from our kennel very often win at the character tests and competitions. Some of them are very successful in the working competitions, competing against working champions of other breeds. All dogs that we use for breeding either have finished working exams or “excellent” score at the character test.

Black Russian Terriers are confident, calm, highly intelligent, brave and loyal. It should never be timid. The Black Russian Terrier seem aloof, but they need human companionship and they connect deeply to there family.
